Cancer Awareness poster

Monday, March 8th, 2010

I designed this poster last week for GMH’s Chemo Duck. I just LOVE this child in the poster — his little face is just precious.

Please DONATE to Gabe’s My Heart’s Chemo Duck by adopting a Chemo Duck for a child living with cancer.

Got a gig?

Monday, March 8th, 2010

There are a ton of musicians/bands in Nashville and you see the flyers posted on every corner. Well, I design flyers too!  This is just one example of a flyer design I created recently.

To discuss flyer design and print or event promotion materials in general, shoot me an email. Usual turnaround time is 1 – 3 business days.

Event Promotional Materials include the following:

• Flyers
• Posters
• Tshirts
• Cards

…or whatever you may need to promote your event.

Chemo Duck

Monday, November 16th, 2009

gmhI’ve been working on a website re-design for Gabe’s My Heart/Chemo Duck Works.

Chemo Duck Works is a standardized, comprehensive education system for children and families coping with childhood cancer.

Here’s part Gabe & Chemo Duck’s story:
Just after his first birthday, Gabe’s mother, Lu Sipos, made the very first Chemo Duck for him. She thought he could use a companion to take to the hospital, one with whom he could share his journey back to health. Chemo Duck turned out to be a best friend and much, much more!

Together, Gabe and Chemo Duck learned all about living with cancer and explored what cancer treatment means to a small boy and his Duck pal. Gabe learned not to be afraid as he took loving care of his Chemo Duck and treated him for cancer of the beak. Gabe administered a series of aggressive beak brushings and several rounds of Play Dough Chemo to his sick playmate.

N&N_logo_2Starting logo design for Nash & Nash Consulting (website hopefully coming soon!).

N & N consults with clients in companies’ marketing departments to help them better understand how to use their client database and associated technologies and applications, as well as the hardware/software configuration side of things.  The logo you see here won’t be used, but the bird concept will be.

The Dark Horse Gala

Picture 1

I’ve designed a flyer for The Volunteer Equine Advocates ‘Dark Horse Gala’, to be held Oct. 29th at the Baber House at Kennesaw Farms. The event will be catered by The Mad Platter, one of my favorite eateries in Germantown (where I had my second Jack White sighting).

The VEA, located in Gallatin, TN, does the following:

• Assist law enforcement with seized, fostering and adopting equine
• Educate the public on proper equine care
• Offer help to equine owners in times of natural or personal disaster
• Rehabilitation of neglected and abused equine
• Accepting donations of unwanted equine for adoption into new homes
• Improving the lives of equine in Tennessee and throughout the U.S.

I am honored to be working with them, and will post photos of my visit to the farm in the next month.
